The album, all that is: The Songs of Garnet Rogers, is the first and definitive collection of songs selected from a critically acclaimed body of work that has had only limited US distribution. Garnet notes, having a career in folk music is like being in the witness protection program. People know you're out there but they just can't quite find you. This compilation is an attempt to rectify that situation by presenting some gems from Garnet's discography, albums difficult to find outside of his native Canada.

A singer-songwriter with a style and vision all his own, Garnet is a formidable instrumentalist and highly literate balladeer with a powerful baritone voice. These qualities fuel the new album's poetic songs, illuminating the power of nature and the victories and struggles of ordinary people.
